Purpose
HR Advisor Site is accountable for providing technical assistance and expertise to HR Superintendent as well as HR Manager in the implementing on development of specific HR plans and programs designed at site to meet operating objectives. Responsibilities include supervision to all IMC contractors in regards HR practices, and providing all reports as required by Manpower Department to ensure compliancy.
Core Accountabilities
Ensure all activities are respect to HSEC policies and procedures in order to comply with the HSEC BHPB standard.
Plans, organizes and implements the project's human resources activity; evaluates progress of all human resources activities, reports results and makes modification as required.
Provides assistance to project management in the creation and maintenance of good employee relations; implements employee communications programs.
Provide expert advice to management on all matters pertaining to industrial relations. Provides visible leadership on behalf of the management by walking the floor to understand the sentiments of the employees and addresses all issues proactively and promptly.
Ensure that all managers and supervisors adhere the company's disciplinary process and that the employee Code of Conduct is periodically reviewed Conduct training to educate all managers and supervisors with a basic knowledge of local employment laws and skills to handle disciplinary process.
Build a good relationship with other Employee Relation among the industry area, Governmant Institution, Legal Advisor, Manpower Department
Provides advice and counsel to line management regarding the interpretation and intent of human resources policies and practices.
Supervision to all IMC contractors in regards HR practices.
Qualifications / Skills / Abilities
- Bachelor degree in Management /Psychology /Social Studies
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels with internal and external parties.
- Awareness on local culture and cross-cultural communication.
- Understanding Business Improvement Principles (i.e. the impact of HR policies on finance, etc.).
- Extensive knowledge on Labour policies, procedures and regulations, particularly those practiced in large corporations
- Detailed knowledge of company regulations and relevant issues related to its implementation.
