Position Description

Job Summary:
Anadarko Petroleum currently has a Sr Aviation Tech position located in the corporate office in The Woodlands, TX, as part of the Aviation Maintenance team.

Qualifications:

• Eight plus years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• Experience with corporate jets and working in a corporate environment is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Perform necessary maintenance and inspections on company operated aircraft.
• Perform maintenance on support equipment
• Act as flight crew member performing duties and tasks as specified by Company policy and procedures and the Pilot-In-Command.
• Supervises inspections, servicing and maintenance performed on company aircraft by outside maintenance facilities as assigned by the Manager of Maintenance.
• Ensures required FAA and Company forms and reports are completed correctly and in a timely manner.
• Ensures all required aircraft logbooks, computerized maintenance program, CESCOM and other required documentation is maintained and current.
• Ensures aircraft maintenance and procedures are conducted in accordance with applicable FARs and manufacturer's maintenance manuals.
• Assists fuel suppliers with offloading fuel to on-site fuel farm.
• Other duties as assigned
• All of the above mentioned responsibilities are to be conducted in a cost-effective manner without affecting safety

Education:

• Senior High School and Diploma required.
• Two years of post High School education with significant aircraft maintenance experience required.

Certifications/Licenses:
The following certification is required for this position:

• Current/valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant license.

Relocation:

• This position is not eligible for domestic or international relocation.

Travel Requirements:

• The percentage of travel required for this position is 15 - 30%
