- The Organizational Development (OD) Consultant is a member of the Leadership Planning and Performance (LPP) team, a strategic human resource consulting organization that enables our leaders and employees become more effective. LPP partners with our client groups and leaders to foster and develop whole system changes, continuous improvement and talent strategies as a means to improve business results. This position primarily supports AA's Technical Operations groups, including Maintenance & Engineering, Flight, Ops Planning/Performance, and Safety/Security/Environmental in a wide array of OD and HR activities. In addition, this position serves as utility team player on departmental strategies and core teams.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- While carefully discerning what our clients truly need, partner with LPP and HR colleagues in the design, development, and implementation of corporate initiatives, talent strategy, and change management practices
- Identify, track and analyze metrics to measure organizational effectiveness solutions for our clients
- Facilitate talent reviews for our clients, assess organization bench strength and work with our client leaders to customize talent development strategies
- Develop, design, coordinate and/or facilitate customized leadership development and training programs/initiatives for our clients
- Conduct organizational assessments and provide data analysis and feedback for our clients
- Provide strategic consultation on utilizing assessments for employee selection and development
- Partner with clients to help drive their business through organizational, talent, and leader development efforts
- Design and facilitate OD interventions that build leader and organizational capability in the organizations we support
- Consult with clients on change management issues related to complex change efforts
- Help our clients with organizational effectiveness solutions, and in developing communications related to organizational effectiveness processes/services

- Experience Requirements:
- 3-5 years of Organization Development consulting work
- Design and implementation of OD strategies and interventions
- Proven ability to maintain highly confidential information
- Experience facilitating and presenting to groups at all organizational levels
- Project management experience
- Bachelor's degree in Organizational Behavior, Psychology, or a business related field
- Preferred: Advanced degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organization Development, Organization Behavior, MBA, or related field of study
