THE OPPORTUNITY

• You will join the OP - Supply Chain within the Research and Development department of Philip Morris Products SA based in Neuchâtel, Switzerland.

Specifically, you will:

Define and implement R&D sourcing strategies based on both knowledge of the respective supply market and consolidated business requirements

Identify, assess, negotiate and recommend vendors
Identify the value-generation drivers, to valuate the asset and to recommend and implement adequate deal structuring
Develop strong partnership with strategic third parties and secure the sources of supplies
Manage the vendor relationship by evaluating vendors' performance, analyzing financial and non-financial procurement reports and following-up throughout continuous improvement plans
In conjunction with the Law department, participate in the development to appropriate contracts' structures, specifically with regards to IP rights creation and retention
Negotiate and implement appropriate contractual agreements with Legal support
Integrate and combine pharma-type production requirements (GMP) with electronic manufacturers best production practices

QUALIFICATIONS

• A university degree in Engineering or Electronics, Life Science or Business Administration.
• Additional advanced degree preferred (i.e. MBA).
• Knowledge of the electronic component and supply base around the world is paramount.
• At least three to five years of a relevant work experience as an electronic manufacturer, ideally within a FMCG's or Pharma type environment.
• Demonstrated experience in project management and in establishing robust partnerships with strategic vendors.
• Knowledge of relevant economical, technical and commercial areas as well as an understanding of relevant markets and supply sources i.e. potential suppliers, production constraints.
• Enjoy teamwork and working in dynamic cross functional teams.
• Achievement oriented with an analytical and problem solving approach.
• Excellent project and time management skills, as well being comfortable in communicating, negotiating and influencing.
• Fluency in English is a must.
