THE OPPORTUNITY
- You will join the Clinical Assessment Team within the Research and Development department of Philip Morris Products SA based in Neuchâtel, Switzerland.
Prepare, in close collaboration with PMI's clinical team, a range of specialized scientific and clinical documents such as investigator's brochures, clinical study protocols, clinical study reports and summaries as well as supporting documentation, abstracts for congresses and manuscripts for publications in peer-reviewed journals
Serve as the primary technical resource for editorial review and scientific consistency of R&D product assessment documents and publications
Provide technical guidance to R&D authors, to ensure that from both a technical and language perspective all clinical documents are appropriate for their intended target audience,
Develop, recommend, and improve forms and templates for all critical documents in the clinical domain in line with relevant internal document management best practices and taking account of all relevant international requirements (For example ICH, FDA)
QUALIFICATIONS
- PhD or MSc in Life Sciences (e.g., biology, biochemistry, physiology) is required
- Solid background in the field of scientific editing or medical writing
- At least 10-years experience in writing scientific documents and at least 5-years experience in medical writing (clinical studies)
- A team player with extremely well developed communication, problem solving and creative thinking skills,
- Fluency in both spoken and written English is required
- Fluency in one or two additional languages such as French, Japanese or German would be an asset
