Responsibilities

• Long Description : Foreman, BG Production Crew
• Basic Function : Supervise and control production activities at designated stopes and other areas to ensure they are executed safely and the target is achieved in a timely and at the most cost effective manner, in order to support the continuity of the production and in compliance with Company's policies, procedures, goals and objectives.

Job Responsibility :

1. Supervise and monitor production activities, in order to ensure safety, appropriate and efficient operations to achieve the production target as planned and required by PTFI.
2. Supervise, monitor and handle in any preparing materials requirement and site preparations, in order to provide sufficient materials for all planned activities and smooth the progress of material taking and gain high-qualified grade of materials, and to achieve the production target in a safe, efficient and timely operation as planned and required by PTFI.
3. Provide safely solution for any potential filed risk during production work at any area of the mine, in order to provide safe working environment.
4. Develop and implement tasks priority in order to meet the goal and achieve scheduled production and target efficiently, safely and timely as required by PTFI.
5. Liaise with all relevant parties (e.g., Development team, Dispatcher and Backfill Plant) to coordinate and communicate any plan execution according to the requirement of the production process, in order to prevent accidents or damages during production run and to reach production targets.
6. Liaise with UG Maintenance department to ensure all production equipments have preventive maintenance and repaired as scheduled.
7. Prepare and control Non-Staff leave schedule to provide data and information, in order to estimate the need of manpower compare with the work load and progress.
8. Prepare and submit daily report to superior including manpower availability, operated loader, jumbos, grouting equipment, explosives usage, used materials and used equipments to provide data and information about the status of the works/tasks in the shift and its issues which can be used as foundation for decision-making in the following shift.
9. Conduct daily and weekly meeting to communicate Company's safety, health and environmental policies and procedures, in order to promote subordinates awareness of safety and environmental issues especially working in Underground, which has a high risk environment.

The key challenges in this position include:

• Manage, develop and motivate subordinate and crew, which come from various background (educational, races, etc.) especially local people, in order to promote their skill, establish a conducive and comfortable situation and at the same perception to achieve the determined target (high standard) safely and in a timely manner.
• Instill all policies and procedures for all works/tasks in order to minimize and prevent accidents and damages, because of Underground Mine are a high risk working environment.

• Supervisor skill.

• Blaster 2 and KIM.
• Computer skill.
• License to operate underground mining equipments.

The key areas in which you have decision-making responsibility are:

• Prioritize the works/tasks to be done.
• Assign crews and equipment to work areas.
• Approve or refuse subordinate's leave request.

Financial

• N/A.

Non-Financial

• Direct subordinates: 2 Foreman with crews.
• Contribute on producing 7,000 dry tones ore per day.
• Equipment: 1 unit Loader 1600/1700, 2 each cable bolt jumbos, various utility equipment.

Requirements
The background, education, and work experience needed to succeed in this job are:

• Minimum Education and Experience
• Bachelor Degree/S1 in Mining Engineering with 5 years experience in Underground Operations especially at Production section, or High School with 10 - 15 years
• experience in Underground Production section.
