Description

The Business Finance Controller opportunity is a newly established position which will play a key role in defining, implementing, and controlling Huawei USA’s financial operations - with a particular focus on supporting the Sales organization. The selected candidate will work directly with Huawei’s CFO and other executives to ensure positive financial outcomes and avoid unnecessary risk.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop/maintain relationships with customer CFO and head of finance (head of procurement if necessary)
• Support bidding and contract negotiation, give professional support on finance related areas such as payment\tax\FX\credit and etc.
• Provide financial solutions (financing\new business\risk assessment and avoidance) to improve contract quality and control risk
• Business case development and analysis from financial aspect
• Account performance measurement and risk control including but not limited to KPI management\ financial planning\ budgeting\ forecast\ key issue solution
• Drive billing and cash collections from accounts, improve AR quality
• Other tasks as required

Qualifications

• At least Bachelor degree of Business & Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or similar, or higher degree
• ACCA/CMA charter holder, or local accounting charter holder is a preferable.
• Good communication in English and Mandarin Chinese.
• Can work in a dynamic and challenging environment, aggressive & open-minded

Experience

• Minimum 5 years working experience, of which at least 2 years in telecom industry.
• Working experiences as related position in telecom industry are preferred
