A rewarding opportunity exists for an experienced Environmental Lead to join our three projects currently in design phase. Working with the project teams to set up systems and processes, and engage with client guidelines, to meet our desired outcomes as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Environmental Lead

Main responsibilities for this role include:

• Ensure implementation of Environment, Heritage & Community deliverables for BAM Clough Projects
• Ensure Environmental management system requirements are developed and implemented for all projects. Develop and implement Joint Venture Environmental Management Systems to support current operations and future growth
• Actively support the implementation and monitoring of Environmental requirements on project sites including auditing as required.
• Provide technical advice, guidance and training to the Joint Venture on the delivery of project Environmental obligations as required.
• Develop, maintain and report on Environmental Metrics for the Joint Venture and projects

Essential requirements include:

• Oil & Gas, Marine or Mining/Resources construction experience preferred
• Greenfields development in near shore environments experience preferred but not essential
• Knowledge of cultural and heritage aspects across jurisdictions nationally
• Minimum of 5 years in 'same or similar role
•  Project start-up including document development
• Remote project construction - Greenfields
• Subcontractor management
• Environmental Lead Auditor Qualification
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant environmental discipline or
• significant relevant work experience in a similar role.

Excellent interpersonal skills for the successful candidate are paramount, as is the ability to work in a cooperative manner across all levels of the team, both of which are vital for the successful execution and delivery of our Projects.
