Position Summary

GT Nexus is looking for an experienced Training Manager with a proven track record in planning and executing an externally facing training program for a software company. The position is a hybrid role that will include program management responsibilities to launch a formal training group and training program at GT Nexus, as well as training delivery responsibilities where candidate will be in front of customer user in a training capacity delivering content. The ideal candidate will have experience implementing a Learning Management Systems and will be able to drive the implementation of such a system at GT Nexus. The candidate will lead GT Nexus’ efforts to develop a full training curriculum of classes across user groups and support the development of training class content for delivery via both live (face to face and web chat) and asynchronous (audio, video, and paper based) channels. They should have outstanding communication and training delivery skills and should enjoy taking complex concepts and content and distilling them into digestible knowledge "nuggets."

Responsibilities:

• Plan, Launch, and Manage the GT Nexus Learning Program
• Implement a Learning Management Solution (LMS) to allow customer users to search for, reserve, schedule, pay for and complete a variety of training classes
• Drive the development of the course content to be delivered (with the assistance of a Training Content Development Team)
• Hire and manage a core team to support develop and delivery training content (likely out of our office in Bangalore, India)
• Manage and Operate the Learning Program Operations as a Profit Center

Job Requirements

• College degree: Bachelor of Science or Arts
• Proven experience developing and delivering training content for a software company
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills
• Experience working with (ideally implementing) a Learning Management System (LMS)
• Supply Chain / Logistics experience a plus
