Responsibilities:
- Focus on developing and implementing HSE, technical & quality management improvement plans with Chinese fabrication and shipyard, jointly with support and guidance from relevant category management and technical disciplines.
- Supporting the technical aspects of supplier management and conducting pre-qualification and final audit with support from technical disciplines qualify yards.
- HSE & Quality assurance and HSE performance and quality control of suppliers based on Shell and International standards Monitor and manage risk on quality during fabrication and supply.
- Develop HSE & quality plan and scope, selection of third party inspectors and monitor quality and technical performance during execution of the order.
- Supervise and manage Third Party Inspection for gap closing and HSE & QA/QC plan.
- Above 10 years technical/project experience. Experience in HSE and/or QA/QC management or construction management preferred.
- Site experience on HSE and/or quality management on fabrication projects is a plus.
- Understand Shell construction standards, projects technical requirements and local industry practices will be a strong plus.
- Leadership skills for driving business through more efficient approaches to qualification and sourcing activities.
- Communication skills for interaction with different vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Proven experience in technical and quality standards and specifications are key success requirements for this role.
- Understanding IOC HSE requirements will be preferred.
- Bilingual language (Chinese and English) skill is required.
