AA is seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer to focus on the development of security architectures, security consulting and system design. Qualified individuals will be responsible for evaluating enterprise architectures, working with groups across the organization to ensure adherence to IT Security policies and standards and consult to define secure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with peers to define technical security direction and services.
• Consult on enterprise and department level initiatives providing security architectural perspective and consulting
• Support the security architecture review process and assist in defining and managing exceptions as part of the security exception process
• Provide recommendations to continually improve the enterprise security services.
• Assist in ensuring IT Security services are compliant with all applicable requirements.

Skills Required:

• Previous experience with network, database, application and platform security architectures and approaches including advanced security services applicable to each area.
• Previous experience defining security services including scope, capabilities and technical implementations.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• An understanding of security frameworks including ISO 27000, along with regulatory security requirements and how to adhere to them including Payment Card Industry, Sarbanes Oxley and HIPAA, Privacy laws and applicable FAA and TSA regulations.
• Knowledge of security technologies, standards, best practices, issues and real world experience in developing and deploying global security solutions.
• Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities while maintaining communication with various service customers.
• Ability to work effectively within a complex, global organization
• Good communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
• Demonstrates excellent analysis, collaboration and communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Superior analytical and problem solving skills

Qualifications

• 5+ years working in a technical security department
• 4+ years of experience working with advanced technical security solutions including advanced authentication services, web services security, authentication, rights management, event management and encryption
• Bachelor's degree required, MBA or Master's degree is a plus.
• Previous experience working with outsource providers and contract development.
• Certified Information Services Security Professional preferred.
