Limited Liability Company (Limited) PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk ("TELKOM", "Company", "Company", or "Us") is a State Owned Enterprises and service providers of telecommunications and the largest network in Indonesia. TELKOM provides InfoComm, the phone cable is not moving (fixed wireline) and wireless phones are not moving (fixed wireless), kites cellular phone, data and internet, as well as network and interconnection, either directly or through subsidiaries.
For SOEs, the Government of the Republic of Indonesia is a majority shareholder who controls much of our ordinary shares with the rest owned by the public. Company shares are traded diBursa Securities Indonesia ("BEI"), the New York Stock Exchange ("NYSE"), London Stock Exchange ("LSE") and the Tokyo Stock Exchange (without listing).
To answer the growing challenges in the telecommunications industry in the country and global level, we are determined to transform fundamentally and comprehensively in all business lines that include business transformation and portfolio, the transformation of infrastructure and systems, organizational transformation and human resources as well as cultural transformations. Implementation of the transformation is done in order to support efforts to diversify the business portfolio of TELKOM from reliance on business-related Legacy telecommunications, telephone service that is not moving (Fixed), mobile phone services (Mobile), and Multimedia (FMM), a portfolio TIME (Telecommunications, Information, Media and Edutainment). Our commitment to support the mobility and seamless connectivity thought to increase confidence in the retail and corporate customers on the quality, speed, and reliability of services and products we offer. This was evidenced by the continuity of the increase in the number of our customers, which reached 120.5 million subscribers as of December 31, 2010, an increase of 14.6%. Of these, about 8.3 million cable telephone subscribers are subscribers are not moving, 18.2 million wireless subscribers are not moving, and 94.0 million mobile phone subscribers.
