M-I SWACO, A Schlumberger Company is seeking to recruit a Demand Planning Manager who is a subject matter expert on Inventory Management and Demand Planning. The successful candidate will consolidate known and projected regional activity levels, along with sourcing constraints, to plan, schedule and facilitate the fulfillment of regional resource requirements. Responsibilities:

• Develops multiple business scenarios (1 to 12 months) for the Regional activity. Evaluates possible growth and decline models in detail.
• Plans activity and resourcing according to scenarios. Prepares risk evaluations and probability analysis for RVP approval.
• Implements proper demand planning processes to effectively resource business.
• Monitors industry and supply trends and projections.
• Coordinates the requests from Distribution Managers given the goals and objectives for the Region and the prevailing supply constraints.
• Supervises inventory regionally and actively counsels on optimum stock levels, slow moving inventory, etc.
• Recommends inventory targets based on strategic requirements set and facility constraints.
• Supports the reviews of strategic and critical products, services and suppliers.
• Prioritize restricted-supply products with Demand Planning counterparts.
• Sets and updates requirements to manufacturing and categories monthly - including the 12-month rolling forecast.
• Reviews product forecasts to determine match with corresponding revenue forecasts and CAPEX; also, confirm accuracy.
• Liaise with Category Management / Supplier Management to stay informed on supply / supplier situations.
• Identifies opportunities and implements actions to continuously reduce waste.
• Special projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Education:

• Minimum: Bachelor's degree; Master's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing or Business a plus
• Minimum experience of 7 years in Operations combined with Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Manufacturing or Marketing exposure.
• Knowledge of the business and/or experience with demand planning, inventory management and delivery processes.
• Strong analytical skills - understanding of statistics, modeling and probability analysis is a plus.
• Ability to articulate short term and long term planning strategies and other Communication skills.
• Must interact successfully with all levels of management.
• Solid understanding of how to use analytical tools and systems for in Demand Planning. Excellent computer skills
• Advanced organizational skills, must be able to multi-task
