Description:

• The site design engineer is partially responsible for the supervision and technical expertise of the civil works part of the deployment of wireless sites to be built by the Partner and partially he shall act as a site manager. He shall act as an expert and consultant within the team for all matters of civil works and site engineering. As a site manager he is a owner of telecommunication equipment site (such as wireless and microwave equipments) and has full responsibility from site preparation, material management, civil work construction and hardware installation to final acceptance including site documents. The site manager should be a sub-regional manager with technical background on site.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage the CW input from the Partners
• Attend BTB in a spot checking or advisory role
• Monitor the production of the planning drawings and review as necessary
• Ensure that the Partner CW designs are reviewed by Huawei, coordinate different expert evaluation and ensure keeping timelines overall
• Monitor the build permit applications and other permits by the Partner
• Check and monitor cost variations to the model site prices or agreed BoQ (whatever is applicable)
• Ensure the availability of all current standards, specifications and general requirements of Huawei and DFMG, E-Plus, Telefonica/O2 or Vodafone where applicable;
• Suggest solutions to technical queries to progress the CW works
• Suggest solutions to sites with difficult CW design problems
• Review the site realization schedule and overview the Partners resource allocations
• Attend site acceptance surveys as required
• Ensure the correct data and documents are entered in the project databases
• Where applicable ensure correct format, structure and transfer of documentation
• Review the Partner invoices and monitor the performance of the Partners against their targets
• Checking and Confirming the Site Survey Report and design
• Checking and Approving the Material Order and Site Plan List
• Planning and Monitoring the Material Arrival on Site
• Manage the site inventory
• Manage the site construction and implementation process
• Site Cost Management
• Site quality, safety and process management
• Provide technical solution to project implementation
• Provide technical support to the project team and sub-contractors
• Coordinate with customers and subcontractors to define user requirements and engineering standards
• Determine and solve handover problems
• Implement and complete the assigned sites within the specific schedules, cost and quality
• Be in charge of site acceptance
• Site documentation management
