Position Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving Blackberry sales through various Enterprise channels in the Southern African market. As well as developing the capability of the sales channel. The successful applicant will be heavily involved in driving the adoption of BlackBerry to end customers as well as via channel partners and responsibilities will include account planning and joint selling activities, delivering training to the various sales teams within channels, delivering technology roadmap presentations and articulating RIM's corporate messaging to the channel and end customer.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for defining and implementing a successful sales strategy for the different Enterprise sales channels (Direct and Indirect) within the identified region
- Continuous analysis of key opportunities/risks/assumptions to build a consistent and continuous growth of the Enterprise business within the region (and identified carrier groups).
- Establish the main KPI's in order to assure an accurate forecasting and pipeline management.
- Responsible for the relationship within the identified carrier's Enterprise Teams at every level as well as with the identified distribution partners in market.
- Proven track record of managing Channel Partners capable of performing at the highest standard and complimenting the overall Blackberry solution strategy.
- Experience of creating a structured Channel sales strategy across Enterprise and SME channels.
- Methodical and logical approach to tasks and an ability to prioritise team workload rationally inline with set timeframes
- Track record of analyzing and understanding market trends, competitor technology threats and the ability to turn those into competitive advantage for RIM across each Channel Partner.
- Gathering key feedback from Channel Partners and escalating feedback to the most appropriate people and groups.
- An aptitude for developing partner relationships outside of the core technology areas to push the RIM message out into the customer.

- Work experience in Telecoms Industry/IT/Fast Moving Technology
- Degree or equivalent will be advantageous.
