Principal Accountabilities

  • Act as part of the Task Force Project Leadership group to effectively manage the project through the pre-FEED and onto FEED stages on behalf of the project stakeholders in particular QPI.
  • Effectively manage relationships with Shell and PetroChina to ensure that company interests are represented in the project and concerns or issues are addressed through the project management structure and appropriate actions are taken.

Primary Purpose of the Job

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Review design documents and shop drawing submittals for accuracy and constructability
  • Initiation, review and timely resolution of RFI items
  • Review of subcontractor change order requests and the processing and timely resolution of the change order requests to owner and the issuance of change orders to subcontractors
  • Prepare quantity take-offs and change order estimates
  • Preparing and updating of project schedules
  • Preparation of charts, graphs and field sketches to document proposed work sequences and to monitor work progress
  • Preparing and updating of monthly project cost status

Objective

Planning

Purchasing/buying

You’ll be involved in worldwide communications and negotiations with suppliers, from raw materials and packaging to equipment / spare parts.
Manufacturing/production
To supply a finished product at the right time, in the right quantities, at the planned cost and most importantly, of the right quality.
We need people who have a complete understanding of all the technical and engineering demands of the production process as well as an ability to be responsible for the team of people running the production unit.

Engineering

Involved in installation, commissioning, building and operating of plant and packaging equipment.

Quality control

We have to ensure that the product meets quality, safety and environmental specifications and that all the constituent parts are available, of the necessary quality and can be delivered on time.

Versatility plus

As a General Field Professional within our Directional Drilling operations, you have the opportunity to put a variety of talents into play by taking the lead position on any Directional Drilling assignment. You must be proficient in the use of directional drilling computer software and able to assist in the provision of advice and analysis to the client representative at the work site. Demonstrate your proficiency in the use of directional drilling computer software and be able to assist in the provision of advice and analysis to the client representative at the work site. Ensure well profile plots are kept up- to-date and provide the client representative with directional survey data. Awareness of the client#s surveying requirements are a plus. Maintain records of all directional drilling equipment at well site, including dimensional data and condition. A desire for variety in working conditions is essential, as this job ccasionally involves physical exertion and outside work.

A bachelor#s degree in Engineering, Science, Geology or other technical discipline preferred or equivalent experience as a Driller/Tool Pusher or above is required for this position. In addition, should have appropriate offshore certification and a minimum of 4 years of directional drilling experience, with the successful applicant having 7- 10 years of related experience.
