Responsibilities
- Design and rollout solutions to meet customer requirement and schedule according to approved budget
- Handled Messaging, PC, Server, Storage, Virtualization, Security Products like Firewall, Web Filtering and Anti Virus solution.
- Provide support on Microsoft, IBM, HP, Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, Bluecoat, F5, Riverbed, Trend Micro
- Understand Customer requirements and translate it into a workable solution.
- Support Project Manager and Pre-sales team at early requirement phase providing technical consultation and working out details solution in large and complex projects.
- Technical support to PM on obtaining the correct Bill of Materials
- Support PM to workout estimation of efforts to complete the project
- Attend site installation works, control field vendors and report site status to PM
- Take on role of acting Project Manager and be responsible for the planning and scheduling to see through the project through its completion
- Perform daily activities includes Change management, level 3 maintenance (design related issues), trouble isolation, resolution and root cause analysis.
- Support PM to produce technical documentation for Implementation (Installation) / UAT/ operation manual
- Perform other duties as required by management
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering or Information Technology
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the related field
- Experience in designing and deploying enterprise level systems infrastructure
- In depth knowledge of servers, IT security, desktop and ICT operations
- Ability to work as a technical lead and as a participant in a team environment.
- Positive, proactive, resourceful with a “can do” attitude and the ability to drive projects to completion and ability for flexible work schedule and rotating on-call duties.
- Must demonstrate excellent customer service & team building skills and will be required to routinely interact directly with customers
- Added advantage for those with technical certifications
