Regional Security Manager
Position Description
Job Summary:
Anadarko Petroleum currently has a Regional Security Manager position open in the Denver corporate office as part of the Security Investigations team. The position is responsible to implement corporate security management systems, provide oversight of daily physical security operations, manage guard force, manage documentation and reporting, and oversee monitoring operations.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a minimum seven (7) years' experience in law enforcement investigation processes, physical security countermeasures, administrative management and public relations / communication skills. Preference is given to individuals who have working knowledge of oil and gas field operations and security issues associated with those operations, a working knowledge of CCTV, Access control, and Intrusion detection systems. Communication skills at all levels of the hierarchy are necessary.

- Implement Corporate Security Management System
- Understand the APC threat management system
- Implement Operating Risk Level security countermeasures
- Review and audit security operational procedures
- Provide Corporate Security group with operational updates
- Investigate and Report Security incidents
- Work with contractor to provide security coverage
- Address security related needs
- Scheduling and special projects
- Invoicing and Budget
- Work with local APC operations to provide security guidance
- Determine manpower requirements
- Coordinate set up and security operation
- Address physical security concerns
- Coordinate response to security related incidents in a timely manner
- Emergency response manpower
- Develop and coordinate special event requests
- Manage reporting system
- Work in conjunction with Corporate Security to design and implement strategic planning
- Generate weekly reports and updates
- Maintain regional Facility Security Plans
- Work with Corporate Security to implement security technology
- Maintain physical and technical security systems
- Provide appropriate levels of training for technical devices in use
- High School Diploma/GED required; College Degree strongly preferred.
- This position is not eligible for domestic relocation.
- The percentage of travel required for this position is 25% - 50%
- This position is on a 40 hour / week schedule Monday - Friday.
