Project Engineer
Work Location: Indonesia,Medan
Job Description
- Provide site administration and overall on-site management
- Engage with local authorities with regard to application for permits, progress and approvals
- Coordinate site project activities thru 3rd party construction management team
- Develop understanding of the drawings, design and add value thru the life cycle of the project
- Follow up on delivery schedules of equipments and materials
- Follow up with procurement for placing on time contracts with Suppliers
- Closely monitor quality and workmanship and report to any deviation
- Closely monitor progress against network and report any potential delay
- Provide weekly progress report to project delivery team
- Manage contractors, sub contractors and their carry out regular performance evaluation
- Prepare and submit reports necessary for legal compliance
- Prepare cost comparisons, analysis and justification notes for crystallizing decisions
- Coordinate technical training for operators – from the technology contractor
- Min Bachelor degree with chemical or mechanical education background
- Min 7 – 10 years experience in the same position
- Good in English
- Have good knowledge & experience in building a project especially in chemical industry
- High motivated to work in a team
- Have good personal skill to maintain relationship with clients
- Have capability to handle any kind of critical problem in daily operation
- Preferably candidates who live in North Sumatera area
