The Production Division carries out a range of activities on behalf of Upstream businesses, primarily around research & development work, technical services, and technology support. The Developments Division is responsible for overseeing the safe and compliant delivery of all major projects within the Segment, and also the safe & compliant delivery of drilling and completion activities.

- Provide support to the business on accounting issues, and general financial advice.
- Lead and support relevant internal control activities in support of the buisness.
- Lead and support opportunities for continuous improvement within relevant process areas.
- Support recharging activity for Divisional costs.
- Essential experience and job requirements Accounting qualification or relevant accounting experience.
- Good Relationship Management skills, both internally and externally.
- Experience of a Group Consolidation process, either in BP or externally.
- Current knowledge of relevant external financial reporting requirements and developments.
- Ability to prioritise work load, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Leadership – Ability to demonstrate leadership on projects or of a small team.
- Teamwork - Capability to co-ordinate with others, listen to ideas and acknowledge individual skills.
