Summary of job description

• Responsible of procurement activities related to Repair & Overhaul (R&O) and Technical Investigations Engineering Support (TIES) contracts;
• Prepares Requests for Quotation in conformance with divisional procedures and obligations derived from R&O and TIES contracts;
• Perform quotation and proposal analysis providing selection recommendations;
• Establishes new sources of supply, selects subcontractor and maintains vendor relationships in a professional manner;
• Issues Purchase Orders in keeping with divisional procedure;
• Administer subcontracts - Responsible for ensuring on-time delivery according to the terms of the contractual agreements, coordinating complex problems calling in various departments;
• Write, review and/or negotiate subcontracts, MOA’s and coordinate all changes;
• Act within an IPT.

Minimum required qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Commerce or in a relevant program;
• Four (4) years of pertinent experience in a manufacturing sectorin purchasing;
• Experience with the CFUTTH program or Government contracts would be an asset;
• Knowledge of MRP System;
• Experience with ARIBA is an asset;
• Experience with qualification of avionics components and software upgrade, including VTDE system;
• Good communication skills;
• Perfect knowledge of English;
• This position is located in Calgary, Alberta and the incumbent would relocate there independently.
