Responbilities:
- Contract holder in the HSE contractor management system
- Delivering on site construction quality,cost and schedule targets against agreed performance measures
- Identifying and implementing cost and schedule reduction initiatives without compromising HSE, technical integrity or quality
- Work closely with other Construction leaders to further develop Construction Best Practices, Construction Professionals, HSE Best Practices
- Review, assess and comment on Contractors proposals and plans on construction matters including but not limited to HSE management, quality assurance,and execution strategies
- Constructability input in FEED stages of project development
- Review, assess and approve all construction interface documents, SIMOPS documents, site safety plans and on an as required basis the construction readiness documents
- Input to the development of tendering plans, tender documents and work package for work in area of responsibility
- Responsible for leadership of Shell Construction Supervisors and contract Onsite Supervisors to deliver Goal Zero and Top Quartile Projects
- Work closely with Project Manager, Wells Delivery Manager and Venture Manager for construction, timing, costs and quality
- Responsible for the development and ongoing improvement of preferred construction contractors’ relationships as it relates to project construction
- Driving Goal Zero behaviors on all construction sites
- Approval of all Construction Interface Documents, SIMOPS, Construction HSE Plans and Site specific HSE plans where required and ensure Construction Readiness
- Achieving continuous improvement through the implementation of Annual Business Improvement Plans for construction in areas of HSE, cost, schedule, and quality
- HS/GED Diploma required; some college coursework a plus
- Construction professional with at least 3 –5 years experience in construction management including but not limited to cost estimating, planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management, quality control and safety management
- Knowledge of standards, codes and regulations that govern construction work in the oil and gas industry in the US
