PT Multi Bintang Indonesia in Medan was originally established in 1929 and have a beer factory in Surabaya. Then in 1936 the Company moved to Surabaya residency in the same year in which Heineken NV became the majority shareholder. In 1951 the Company changed its name to Heineken's Nederlandsch-Indische Maatschappij NV Bierbrouwerijen, and in 1972 to build a beer factory in Tangerang.

After several times changed its name, the company finally put the name of PT Multi Bintang Indonesia and officially became a public company in 1981 and turned his domicile from Surabaya to Jakarta. Its shares are traded on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Now our company has become the leading beer producer in Indonesia. The Company manufactures and markets a range of leading products such as Bir Bintang, Heineken, Guinness, Bintang Zero, and Green Sands.

Currently, the company are looking for young, energetic and dynamic professional candidates to join our team as Mechanical Engineer position and will be placed at Tangerang - Banten.


Purpose of the Job:

• Responsible and accountable for ensuring that the maintenance & repair work of brewery (production and Utility) equipment and integration of new equipment in the new project are implemented on time, within budget and at desired scope & quality.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensures the execution of planned maintenance implemented according to the standard.
• Ensures the breakdown equipment will be repair as soon as possible within required quality.
• Ensures the breakdown happen on the utility and production line was analyze to avoid the same problem in the future.
• Ensures subordinate working in good performance and develop skill and knowledge of sub-ordinate to achieve the required level.
• Ensures spare part stock was review to maintain the equipment reliability in economically quantity.
• Ensures the integration of new equipment in the project implemented on time with minimum impact to the production run.
• Ensures the coordination and communication within department and with other department was maintain to achieve the good performance of brewery

Requirements:

• Minimum University Bachelor Degree majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5 years successful experienced in maintenance management of utility and production process equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of production and utility maintenance & repair.
• Good understanding of SAP, Total Productive Management (TPM), ISO 9001 & 14000, HACCP are required.
• Experience from food & beverages manufacturing is preferable.
• High integrity and high achievement motivation.
• Good communication skill verbal & written.
• Good team work skills.
• Good project management knowledge & skills.
• Excellent in managerial & behavioral skill: decision making, coaching, creating successful team, innovating.
• Familiar in computer applications
• Proficient in English both oral & written
