Responsibilities:
- Provide traditional administrative support for General Manager and department of approximately 50 people comprising Pricing and Demand Management for the North American Fuels business.
- Focal point for all general administration matters (office supplies, office equipment, office moves,etc.).
- Help schedule and organize meetings as needed.
- Facilitate travel arrangements as needed.
- Develop, track, and help manage departmental budgets.
- Develop and track other relevant administrative departmental information.
- Be the resident expert for all of the administrative systems that departmental staff use, and able to train staff in the use and troubleshooting of those systems.
- Maintain and keep filing system up-to-date, including acting as the departmental Records management focal point.
- Coordinate a few team building events and activities during a calendar year.
Provide helping hand to staff analysts within group to extract, analyze, interpret, and present data for projects or ongoing work.
Take on independent analytical work to support projects.
Create and maintain selected monthly reporting systems for various departmental and Support creation of presentations as needed.
Requirements
- Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
- Bachelor's degree required, Accounting or Finance related degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years experience in supporting data analysis and reporting.
- Must be advanced level Excel user including detailed knowledge of:
- Pivots, graphs and formulae, including combinatorial logic-driven calculations.
- Forms, objects, worksheets and graphs all powered by macros.
- Consolidate data from numerous sources.
- Demonstrate ability designing Excel "applications" e.g. time sheets, project plans, financial forecasts.
- Proficiency in MS office applications.
- Must be able to carry out financial and quantitative analyses – involving data queries, manipulation of large sets of data, statistical and mathematical functions, creation of reports, etc.
- Able to operate in quickly changing environment and/or situations.
