TelkomVision which was established on May 7, 1997 by 4 (four) a consortium of companies, namely PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk (TELKOM), PT. Rajawali Citra Televisi Indonesia (RCTI), PT. Telekomindo Primabhakti and PT. Datakom Asia continues to grow and develop in the Pay TV business in Indonesia.
Along with the development of the business, TelkomVision undergone several changes in the structure of share ownership and TELKOM as Indonesia's largest telecommunications company still exist TelkomVision become the majority shareholder with a stake currently at 99.2% and amounted to 0.80% of shares owned by PT TelkomVision . Multimedia Nusantara (Metra) to the total issued and paid up capital of Rp. 376.7 billion as at 31 December 2010.
As a company majority-owned by Telkom, Telkom Tbk where TIME is the only operator in Indonesia, is positioned as a business TelkomVision Media and Edutainment part in the business of TIME (Telecommunication, Information, Media and Edutainment), so that future Pay TV business TelkomVision will continue to be developed both in the program, type and media services with the latest innovations.
