Qualification:
- Educational Requirement: Bachelor Degree (S2/Master Degree will be an advantage).
- Have experience in naval architecture, offshore floating structures engineering and construction.
- Completion of all pre-FEED (Front End Engineering & Design) technical studies.
- Completion of technical section of the FPU (Floating Production Unit) FEED Bid Package.
- Provide expert advice as the technical SME (Subject Matter Expert) to evaluate the FPU FEED bid proposals during the FEED tender process
- Upon completion of Pre-FEED phase, this position will transition to become the FPU FEED Hull and Mooring engineer reporting to the FPU Lead.
- Responsible for the review and evaluation of the contractor work on the FEED design of all aspects of the FPU hull, riser and mooring and associated systems, including inspection of proposed fabrication sites and review of contractor work plans, processes and procedures.
- The position will be responsible for the structural design of the hull, the corrosion protection systems (coatings, anodes and monitoring systems), marine systems within the hull and the interfaces (structural, mechanical, electrical and utilities) with the topsides facilities, subsea and riser systems during front-end engineering including preparation of class 3 cost estimate for project A/R (Appropriation Request), and assisting in development and implementation of an effective contracting plan.
- Participate in the planning and development of the execution plan for the detailed design, construction, hookup and commissioning of hull, riser and mooring and its associated systems.
- Select and manage specialists from for specific support services, with consultation from the FPU Lead.
- Interface closely with Interface & Risk Management Team to identify and mitigate risks during the FEED design activities.
- Communicate regularly with other Project Team members responsible for the topsides facility, subsea and riser systems, to ensure coordination of interfaces and schedules.
- Willing to relocate to one of Chevron operations locations (East Kalimantan/Riau).
- Have a good leadership and communication, both in Bahasa or English.
