Description

The Global Sales Learning Specialist is responsible for delivering the training and development courses and resources for new and existingOracle/ RightNow Sales professionals necessary to meet and exceed sales goals. The sales learning specialist partners with subject matter experts to assist in the creation of training programs focusing on selling skills, product knowledge, industry knowledge, and company specific culture. This individual will deliver classes on boarding and selling skills. This individual must possess excellent communication skills and be a dynamic presenter.

This position requires travel to appropriate regional offices (up to 50%).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure learning programs align with sales specific goals and RightNow Technologies strategy and culture
• Create/Refine/Utilize standardized coursework for sales professionals
• Determine the appropriate learning delivery vehicle(s) to achieve the desired result, within the context of the overall project goals (ie: instructor-led, leader-led, on demand e-learning, webinar, etc.)
• Partner with senior sales learning specialist to develop facilitator and participant materials that are appropriate to the course topic and can be used by multiple facilitators and audiences
• Participate in projects to align learning experiences with Sales specific competencies
• Gather feedback and review both new and existing training programs, determine the need for improvement and work to implement change
• Facilitate the delivery of learning programs as appropriate
• Effectively prioritize and manage a variety of training assignments concurrently
• Deliver exemplary customer service through strong professionalism and ownership of assigned learning projects
• Demonstrate commitment to teamwork through relationship building and collaboration
• Deliver courses with a commitment to strong results

Essential Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Background

• 2-5 years experience in instructional design and delivery
• Demonstrated experience designing and delivering training in small and large group settings, both classroom based and on demand eLearning or facilitated virtual environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated understanding and application of Adult Learning Theory
• Ability to develop relevant course materials and curriculum for a diverse audience of adult learners
• Strong proficiency in MS Office, Captivate strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree (in related field, preferred)
• Sales experience a plus
• Familiarity with Customer Experience Management software a plus
