Citibank has had a presence in Indonesia in one form or another since 1918 when its precursor, The International Banking Corporation, set up branches in Batavia (present-day Jakarta) and Surabaya. The International Banking Corporation withdrew from Indonesia in the late 1920s, but Citibank reopened in Jakarta in 1968.

Citibank Indonesia offers retail banking in 19 branch offices and 102 ATMs in the cities of Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Medan, Semarang and Denpasar. Citibank also began mobile banking in 2003.

Qualifications

• Technically adept and competent in qualitative and quantitative research, including:
• Expertise in selecting the best research technique/methodology for the given business issues.
• Expertise in target respondent selection: deep knowledge in Indonesia general population demographics statistics as well as banking population statistics and ability to match with Citibank target segments.
• Expertise in sampling frame development: has complete knowledge of demographic profiles of each Jakarta regions including Socio-Economy Class distribution and respondent recruitment feasibility. Knowledge about Surabaya, Bandung, and Medan demographic profiles will be an advantage.
• Expertise in respondent recruitment method: has deep understanding on face-to-face interview, telephone interview (including CATI) and web survey methodology.
• Expertise in quality control procedures.

Expertise in data analysis method:

• has deep understanding on statistics and multivariate analysis, including their application on SPSS and spreadsheet software.

Has expertise on wide-range of research subjects:

• Brand tracking
• Customer satisfaction and NPS
• Advertising research
• Value proposition test
• Mystery shopping
• Competitive intelligence

Has at least 3 years experience in research agency and hands-on experience in handling banking clients.
