Role synopsis The role holder provides high quality business support to establish, develop and deliver HSSE training needs based on business, legislative and BP Group requirements with the aim of achieving HSSE compliance and competence through the management of a focused HSSE learning offer and the assessment, coaching and development of staff.

Key accountabilities:
  • Identifying, prioritising and communicating opportunities for improved system use, including use of existing functionality and developments.
  • Developing, analysing, interpreting and distributing HSSE training reports to drive HSSE training compliance.
  • LMS Super user level tasks including set up of venues, creation of email notification templates. new course set up, second level tech support. Communicating with second level users of the LMS (workplace coaches, training administrators, learning advisors and reporting coordinators), including training, provision of user guides and answering queries on system use.
  • Acting as single point of contact for the Learning System supplier and key internal stakeholders.
  • Second Level LMS troubleshooting: Investigating, escalating and resolving issues and errors in the LMS payroll interface, functions and reports.
  • Proactive management of second level users of the LMS (workplace coaches, training administrators, learning advisors and reporting coordinators), including training, provision of user guides and answering queries on system use.
  • Chairing regular peer group\regular LMS Governance group meetings.
Essential experience and job requirements:
  1. Proven experience in developing, maintaining and troubleshooting learning management systems in a corporate environment.
  2. Strong analytical skills with proven experience in training data analysis and reporting.
  3. Advanced MS Excel skills.
  4. Ability to work effectively with a high degree if autonomy and independence.
  5. Ability to translate business needs to systems solutions using problem solving abilities.
  6. Strong communications and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable criteria & qualifications:
  • Degree in Business, HR or related discipline.
  • Exposure to Learning Management Systems and or implementation of a Global LMS platform
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Interest in developing online and virtual training training interventions.
