Role synopsis
The key role of Safety Advisor is to provide leadership in all safety-related activities and minimize potential risks by requiring compliance with all BP HSE management system, standards / policies, and safe work practices.

Key accountabilities

• Perform daily monitoring for specified plant areas
• Through interactions and visits, prioritize “live” HSE risk to drive focus of the team by providing assurance that hazards are identified and risk are controlled
• Provide assurance and support on the implementation of control of work processes
• Provide assurance that safety training module is aligned with safety risk, and act as resource to deliver training for specific subjects
• Drive compliance to applicable safety regulations, standards and procedures
• Act as root cause specialist in incidents investigations team. Drive quality action closure.
• Lead Lessons Learned review and sharing, based on internal and external incident learning
• Provide input on potential safety risk from Management Of Change (MOC) process and ensure that implementation of the change has been managed to minimize unnecessary HSE risk
• Develop safety improvement program at the area in addition to the overall site safety improvement strategy

Essential Education
At minimum a Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial safety, construction. Other relevant technical background is welcome.

Essential experience and job requirements

• Minimum 5-10 years experiences in oil and gas plant, petrochemical or relevant process facility.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Indonesia verbal and written
• Good interpersonal skill and able to work with individual and group to achieve company goals
• Knowledge in regulatory and necessary skills to support job functions
• Has strong skill in all relevant HSE aspect including HSE audits, control of work (permit to work system), and incident investigation.
• Has strong leadership level in driving compliance of site activities to applicable safety regulations, standards and procedures.

Other essential skills and knowledge
Familiar with HSE management system and how it works

Desirable criteria & qualifications
Experience working in LNG Plant will be advantage
