One of Indonesia’s leading insurance companies is looking for a professional for the position of Business Continuity Management. They are looking for an industry professional of the highest caliber to minimize risks against natural disasters and provide sound solutions in times of crisis.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Perform situational assessments and development of action plans for building crisis events
• Liaise with other internal stakeholders to prepare and analyze damage assessments
• Conduct surveys to determine the types of emergency-related needs to be addressed in crisis planning
• Design and administer crisis preparation training courses to respond effectively to major crisis
• Inspect strategies and programs to determine operational and functional capabilities in critical situations
• Keep abreast of activities that could affect the likelihood of crisis
• Administer the crisis management procedures, contingency plan and guidelines
• Lead a cross-functional team in the development of policies, processes and procedures crisis management
• Periodically report to project management officer

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree (min.) in related field
2. Five years’ experience (min.) risk assessment/management, insurance industry is preferred
3. Experience in business process re-engineering
4. Proven track record in crisis management
5. Project management and processing skills mandatory
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
7. High-level of drive, energy and personal commitment to success
8. Attention to detail and strategic thinking
9. Excellent written and oral communication skills
10. Ability to package and present ideas in a persuasive manner
11. Excellent team player
12. Able to handle crisis situations
