Senior Static Engineer Job JGC Oil and Gas

The JGC Group consists of the main company, which provides a wide range of services in the planning, design engineering, construction, and commissioning of various kinds of plants and facilities, and another 41 subsidiary, and 32 affiliated, companies in Japan and aboard. The activities of the JGC Group include the equipment procurement services, and the provision of the inspection and maintenance services incident to the construction and running of such plants and facilities, the manufacture and sale of catalysts and other chemical products, and IT-related services.

Currently, we are looking for young energetic and dynamic proffesional candidates to join our team as Senior Static Engineer position.

Qualifications:
Degree
(Diploma engineers with extraordinary experience may be considered)

Experience:
7 years
(In Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Petrochemical, chemical and industrial plants and consistent career experience in the engineering department)

Nature of job: FEED, Detail Engineering, EPC or EPCm projects

Detail of work to be handled:

• Preparation of all engineering deliverable such as
1. Mechanical data sheet, design calculations and engineering drawings.
2. Technical specifications and data sheets
3. Requisitions, clarifications, technical bid evaluations
4. Equipment modification specifications
5. Construction required engineering information/documents
6. Any other related documents required for completion of work/assignments
• Check and release all error free deliverable to project/client
• Ensure design/deliverable are in conformance Code, standards and meet project specification requirements
• Checking of vendor documents for assuring compliance
• Smooth working with team of engineers for transfer of information, knowledge and resolving issues etc
• Interdiscipline co-ordinations for smooth exchange of project, vendor and client information for error free products
• Attend site work as needed to complete engineering work, collect data, trouble shooting at site, performance check or handover of equipment
• Compile lesson learned data base, procedures, internal working standards, check lists etc to improve work procedures, standards for implementing a systematic work culture
• Estimation of man-hours, deliverable and schedules
• Status and work progress reporting and control of rework and man-hours
• Keeping records, files up to date and maintain library for the job handled
