Bumitama Gunajaya Agro Group (BGA) is a group of agribusiness companies which engaged in oil palm plantations and mills. As one of the Harita Group's core business divisions, BGA was initially formed from the acquisition of PT Karya Makmur Bahagia (KMB) in 1997. Harita structured its palm oil holding in 2004 to form the BGA Group so now all of its holding under the management of BGA.

The company currently operates in four provinces in Indonesia: Central Kalimantan, West Kalimantan, East Kalimantan and Riau, comprising a total of 113.494 hectares planted area. The operations involve the management of 38 palm oil estates and 5 mills with total capacity of 315 tons per hour (data results as of June 2011).

BGA is committed to producing the sustainable palm oil. To achieve this objective, BGA continuously implement and monitor all processes based on the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) principle and criteria. BGA’s vision is not just to build a plantation, but also to build and empower its plantation communities in Indonesia by forming long lasting and fruitful partnership with its farmers.
