Job Description

• WorleyParsons is a large global provider of professional services to the energy, resource and complex process industries. We have the track record and systems necessary to pursue and deliver large-scale and complex projects.
• We are currently looking for a Senior Instrument Engineer to join our London based office.

Responsibilities include:

• Review Supplier technical documentation and check technical compliance to project specifications and standards.
• Review Package documentation for package integration / communication with DCS, ESD and Fire & Gas Systems.
• Respond to Supplier's technical queries raised within the appropriate cycle.
• Review all concession and deviation requests from Supplier and make appropriate recommendations.
• Review control narratives, specifications, data sheets, C&E diagrams.
• To support Procurement and Construction activities related to Brownfield & Greenfield work area.
• To assist Instrument Technical Authority in all areas related to Instrumentation & Control.

Job Requirements

• Extensive Instrumentation & Control experience including P&ID development, C&E generation, review control narratives, philosophies, specifications, instrument data sheets and HAZOP & SIL attendance.
• Field Instrumentation & Control including transmitters, flow meters, control valve, analysers.
• Hands on experience on Distributed Control System (DCS), Emergency Shutdown System (ESD), Fire & Gas (F&G) System.
• Experience of Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT), Inspection on DCS/ESD/F&G systems and Package Control Systems.
• Knowledge of International Codes and Standards like IEC, API, ISA etc.
• Experience on SIL verification & validation based on IEC 61508 / 61511 will be preferred.
• Experience on Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI) will be preferred.
• Exposure to Fiscal Oil & Gas Metering Skids will be preferred.
• Plant start-up and commissioning experience will be preferred.
• Experience on Upstream Oil & Gas industry will be preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation or equivalent. Further qualification like Registered Engineer / Chartership will be preferred.
