Description
Key Areas of Responsibilities:

• Member of Regional TP&S Team to oversee the engineering services and lend necessary support to the countries through different phases of TP&S propositions and orders.
• Assisting in the 3rd party vendor evaluation and selection from technical view points
• Participate in customer meetings covering design/engineering matters
• Organize and manage outsourced draftsman services as necessary
• Support Bid Manager with input of 3rd party cost analysis and pre-cal assumptions
• Oversee the approval procedures of all drawings and technical specifications from the client and visit sites / customers to clarify and expedite the process
• Keep custody and track of all changes/developments of the design and technical specifications
• Provide execution support to some of the countries as and when allocated in terms of project planning, execution tracking and reporting of cost upsides, time over-run etc
• Provide guidance to the country teams on technical issues related to installation/commissioning & maintenance as per modern/latest engineering practices
• Attend customer meetings during execution review
• Support country teams to form and articulate the sub-contracting scope & terms and tackle sub-contractors disputes, technical issues during execution
• Visit work sites and hold regular meetings with local TP&S/Project Managers and sub-contractors to review execution progress and help remove road blocks, expedite pending decisions

Competencies

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering preferably with Industrial Man-agement
• 5-8 years relevant working experience (Engineering/Project Management)
• Excellent current engineering knowledge and hands-on experience
• Results driven, business/customer minded
• Hands-on/practical, self-starter
• Analytical, process oriented
• Technical and commercial affinity
• Team player, relationship builder, stakeholder management
• Negotiator
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Fluent in English and any other local language
• Willingness to travel extensively in the ASEAN Pacific countries
