Description

Key areas of responsibility:

• Prepares and execute system level tests (system integration, verification and validation tests) for both functional as well as non-functional aspects (including analysis and submission of found problems).
• Provides (pro-actively) feedback to development, based upon the experiences gained.
• Writes test specifications (based on the defined test design) and develops related test (automation) scripts.
• Executes WIP tests.
• Assists in Interoperability tests during verification test.
• Analyses and interprets test results and determines PR/CR entering
• Discusses with development found PR's/CR's on urgency, impact, etc.
• Assists development where possible in analysis of reported PR's/CR's
• Follows development in the profession of test engineering.
• Based upon knowledge/test experience, extends set of test cases and sets up new test specifications.
• Assists Customer Support in testing complex customer problems and hot fixes

Necessary know-how / skills:

• ISEB/ISTQB Foundation or equivalent level knowledge of Test Engineering profession.
• A basic level of protocol/networking knowledge is preferred.
• Knowledge on Test Processes & Techniques.
• Detailed understanding of Test Tools used.
• Communicative.
• Disciplined team worker.
• Affinity with Testing and Improvement
• Quality oriented.
• Able to handle ad-hoc changes in priority/planning.
• Able to test different systems in parallel
• Able to work in different teams simultaneously
• Able to think from customer expectation perspective
• Experience in Test Automation is preferred

Main Experience required:

• Previous professional experience in development or testing.

• Language: English in spoken word and writing
