The Role:

• We’re currently recruiting for Rotating Equipment Engineers to join our client's team as contractor. Reporting directly to the Team Lead Rotating Equipment EMEA. You’ll be part of a dynamic and highly visible and diverse global team, that’s responsible for providing Rotating Equipment engineering expert advice and sustainable solutions to projects and operating assets.
• The department provides technical services, technology capability and major project delivery in both Upstream and Downstream activities.
• Within the company, our Project & Engineering Services provide specialist engineering services. Our Rotating Equipment discipline, which aims to deliver integrated solutions for rotating equipment to all its customers, including Group operating companies, joint ventures and non-group customers worldwide. It is our goal to be recognised as a centre of excellence. Delivering top-quality support and services adds value to the rotating equipment assets of our customers. The rotating equipment discipline provides technical and operational support to more than 100 refineries, LNG plants and upstream operators worldwide.

Responsibilities:
As one of our Sr. Rotating Equipment Engineers, you’ll be required to provide and lead the delivery of rotating equipment expert services to a range of upstream and downstream projects and operations.

• Support operations to achieve process safety, production and cost goals
• Work with project teams in support of TQ and Flawless Project Delivery
• Develop best practices from collected information from the Operating Units
• Provision of rotating equipment engineering services to existing OU's,JV's and 3rd parties, debottlenecking studies and failure investigations
• Review of work carried out by external engineering consultants
• Support maintenance and operational issues programs with customers, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Give advice on operational and engineering/maintenance aspects of rotating equipment, failure diagnosis and root cause analysis.

Your accountabilities will include:

• Comply with HSSE compliance and behaviours in line with corporate initiatives
• Comply with corporate standards and work processes

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

• You’ll have extensive rotating equipment experience and substantial international exposure of working in the oil industry or related industries. Fluently in English language is a prerequisite, spoken and written. Educated to MSc or BSc in mechanical engineering or equivalent professional qualification Membership of a national or international professional engineering institution would be an advantage.
• You’ll have specific expertise in at least one specific type of rotating equipment e.g.: gas turbines, steam turbines, compressors, pumps. Combined with an in depth technical knowledge of the content and application of international standards for rotating equipment including working experience in front end, concept selection, execution and/or commissioning & start-up operations.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills will be required to work effectively in/and across multi-functional teams and interface with a wide range of internal stakeholders, customers and service provider

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of one or more refinery or upstream oil & gas processes would be desired to understand and translate the business needs into delivering innovative and sustainable value solutions.
