Senior Project Engineer - Mongolia

Leighton Asia is looking for high-calibre candidates to fill this position in the Design and Build infrastructure project at the outskirt of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Lead and drive a team of site engineers to deliver various work packages on time and under budget
• Manage the design consultant to ensure design meets the design intent and that the design packages are organised and assembled for timely submittal and approval
• Promote a safe working culture through project planning and execution

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of experience on civil engineering / infrastructure projects (large scale preferred)
• Prior experience working with main contractors is required
• Wind energy experience is desirable
• Proven ability to work in a high pressure environment and meet deadlines
• Experience in technical coaching with strong communication skills
• Team oriented demeanour and integrity
• Able to work transparently and culturally sensitive
• Promote a safe working culture through project planning
