Leighton Asia is looking for high-calibre candidates to fill this position in the Design and Build infrastructure project at the outskirt of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Lead and drive a team of site engineers to deliver various work packages on time and under budget
- Manage the design consultant to ensure design meets the design intent and that the design packages are organised and assembled for timely submittal and approval
- Promote a safe working culture through project planning and execution
- Minimum 8 years of experience on civil engineering / infrastructure projects (large scale preferred)
- Prior experience working with main contractors is required
- Wind energy experience is desirable
- Proven ability to work in a high pressure environment and meet deadlines
- Experience in technical coaching with strong communication skills
- Team oriented demeanour and integrity
- Able to work transparently and culturally sensitive
- Promote a safe working culture through project planning
