HeidelbergCement has come a long way from the foundation of the first cement plant in Heidelberg in 1873 to one of the leading international building materials group it is today. The company was active in the South German region exclusively until the end of the 1960s. First steps into the international arena followed with the participation in the French cement company Vicat and the acquisition of Lehigh Cement in the USA in 1977. At the end of the 1980s, the political changes in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe offered new opportunities, and Heidelberg Cement became the largest investor in the building materials industry of the region. In the 1990s, the international expansion accelerated. The acquisition of the leading Belgian and Scandinavian cement producers CBR and Scancem opened up new markets in Western and Northern Europe, as well as in Africa and Asia. The entrance into Indonesia followed in 2001 and again created a significant increase in capacity. Our objective ”Priority for growing markets“ was the driving force behind our engagements in China, India, Kazakhstan, Georgia, the Ukraine and Russia over the last several years. By making the biggest acquisition in the building materials industry – the takeover of the building materials manufacturer Hanson in 2007 – we have expanded and consolidated our position among the leading companies worldwide.

We are a member of the international concern HeidelbergCement - one of the world’s largest manufacturers of building materials which employs about 53,400 people at 2,500 locations in more than 40 countries. To further strengthen our HR Department we are currently searching Training & development specialist for Gorazdze Cement SA, located in Chorula near Opole.

Your future tasks:
  • Person working on this position will be subordinate to the Main Specialist for Human Resources Management and will be responsible among others for:
  • Permanent cooperation with HR Department of HeidelbergCement Group in the scope of training and development programmes of HeidelbergCement Group realized in Górazdze Group (organisation of stay for the training participants, hotels and flights reservations, support of the training participants in the scope of legal requirements: documents, permits, visas, etc.)
  • Cooperation in setting-up and implementation of training and development programmes for the employees of Górażdże Group (setting-up training programme frameworks, cooperation with external companies in their realisation),
  • Preparing, in the cooperation with the Main Specialist for Human Resources Management, recommendations in the scope of training policy for the Group from the point of view of employees development.
  • Evaluating the efficiency of trainings system realised for the employees of Górazdze Group, (among others preparing analyses regarding efficiency of realised trainings, preparing lists of recommended training companies, preparing recommendations for the cooperation with external companies.)

  • University education,
  • Experience in work on a similar position,
  • Fluent Polish, very good knowledge of English (in speech and writing)
