At the end of the 1980s, the political changes in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe offered new opportunities, and Heidelberg Cement became the largest investor in the building materials industry of the region. In the 1990s, the international expansion accelerated. The acquisition of the leading Belgian and Scandinavian cement producers CBR and Scancem opened up new markets in Western and Northern Europe, as well as in Africa and Asia. The entrance into Indonesia followed in 2001 and again created a significant increase in capacity. Your future tasks:
- Cooperation in setting-up the health and safety policy in Górażdże Group companies,
- Coordination of health & safety staff activities,
- Preparation and implementation of health and safety improvement programmes and creation among the employees the appropriate consciousness of importance of health and safety issues,
- Supervision over the realisation of programme „Zero Tolerance” for non-compliance with health and safety regulations, guidelines and standards,
- Maintenance and development of labour health and safety management system implemented in the Company according to the international standard OHSAS 18001,
- Realising internal inspections of work conditions and observation of health and safety regulations, maintaining full health and safety documentation,
- Realising health and safety trainings,
- Realising analyses of work posts from the point of view of potential risks,
- Participation in the process of occupational risk evaluation and its verification,
- Permanent cooperation with health and safety staff of HeidelbergCement Group and implementation of guidelines regarding the improvement of health and safety resulting from Group and Company policy.
- University education in the scope of health & safety or post-graduate studies in the scope of health and safety,
- 5-year experience in the work on a managerial position in the health & safety area (preferred: in the heavy industry, in production plant),
- Good knowledge of English (in speech and writing),
- Creativity, engagement, communicativeness and ready to work flexible hours,
- Driving licence – type B.
