We are currently taking applicants for the following position:
Senior Supervisor Plant Planning
Reporting to the Superintendent Plant Planning, you will assist the Superintendent Plant Planning to identify key areas to improve and streamlines the core functions of the group; manage the workload of the central planning and strategic planners in BSF to ensure that the team is efficiently completing their workload; manage and develop the performance of people within the planning group to ensure maximum productivity and coverage of planning and strategic tasks; ensure strategic management of plant systems and equipment are consistently reviewed following the requirement; maintain good relationship and routine communication with OEM's and supplier to ensure quality service and reliable supply of components to meet TCI forecasts; ensure statutory and safety related maintenance events manage by BSF planning group are always up to date and appropriate documentation recorded.
To be successful in this role you will requires Mechanical Engineering qualifications or ex Thiess Apprentices with Minimum of 5 years experience within the mining industry as Site Maintenance & Planning; familiar with component cost/budged analysis; strong leadership skill; high initiative; performance driven with capability of managing relationship and develop others; analysis & reporting skill, equipment maintenance background; method, principles and technique used in preventive maintenance; computer literacy and excellent English communication skill -written and verbal.
