We are currently taking applicants for the following position:

Manager - Supply Chain

The scope of your role will include but not be limited to :

• Establish effective and meaningful KPI for agreed Supply Chain services and other deliverables, and regularly monitor performance and progress against them.
• Drive effective planning in all direct support areas and efficiently use resources to deliver agreed outcomes.
• Foster ongoing positive relationships with all stakeholders, and in particular manage the relationship and interfaces with Plant, Operations and Thiess Australia to optimise benefits to the business.
• Manage information and provide and audit function for expenditure associated with the Company's suppliers.
• Ensure contracting activities provide appropriate coverage of business risk at acceptable cost, speed of delivery and surety of supply, supported by effective purchasing and expediting services.
• Provide warehousing support that ensures all contracted materials are catalogued and the lowest safe value of stock is held within the Company's warehouses in a condition ready for its prompt issue when required.
• Provide an efficient and cost effective centralised cataloguing service for the Thiess Group.
• Provide logistic support within Indonesia and between Australia and Singapore to ensure the most cost efficient and effective movement of equipment movement from point of origin to destination.
• Provide responsive travel services for the Company's personnel.

To be successful in this role you will need have tertiary level qualifications in business or related discipline, minimum of 10 years experience in leadership and people management, experience in contracting, supplier management and logistics, high level negotiation skills, high level written and verbal English skills and demonstrated planning, organisation, initiative and analysis skills.
