Leaders For Business Graduate Programme 2012 British Airways

If anything characterises the graduates on our general management programme, it’s their high level of motivation, resilience and eagerness to learn. Over three years you’ll focus on the key skills and capabilities needed to be a future leader in British Airways, including people and project management, the commercial world, running our operation and most importantly, delivering premium service to our customers.

This is a truly hands-on programme for people who aren’t afraid to step out of their comfort zone and stretch themselves. We expect our graduates to get stuck in with the day-to-day tasks of running our business as well as contributing to our long-term strategic vision and success, through real jobs with real responsibilities and challenges – designed to give you a broad range of skills and experiences.

You’ll find yourself in a range of environments where front-line customer interaction happens every day. This may be on board our aircraft as cabin crew, in the terminal as passenger service agents or in customer relations responding to letters, emails and phone calls.

Following that, you might start dealing with our corporate and trade clients as a sales account manager, leading and managing a team of operational staff or delivering a multi-million pound project.

The opportunities are endless, based on your development needs, but all designed to shape you as a future leader within British Airways. Your programme and line managers will support you, along with a mentor and coach. You’ll also have range of external development and chances to network.
