Function
- Facilitate the process to define, analyze and formalize business requirements for identified areas of improvements
- Lead the process to define, analyze and evaluate detailed functional requirements for projects by working in close liaison with end-users and other functions to ensure alignment to evolving business requirements
- Coordinate and participate in Test, Training and Implementation activities
- Develop, edit and maintain project planning, and project documentation including user documentation
- Provide support and ongoing maintenance on live systems, and ensure co-ordination with all teams involved
- Conduct meetings on different levels of management for purposes of presentations, reviews, approvals of recommendations, etc.
- Understand technology trends in own area of responsibility and apply this knowledge to bring solutions to the end-users. Develop good understanding of the key business processes
- Plan and lead local projects; support (parts of) divisional/regional projects
Your Profile
- Master or Bachelor degree in Applied Economics/Accounting/Computer Sciences or equivalent by experience.
- You have minimum 5 years experience, preferably in similar roles and/or industries
- Strong knowledge of finance related processes, and a good business understanding and experience/interest in business processes and IS-development.
- Knowledge of Business Process Design and Systematic working methods
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials (modules Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Asset Management) as business application analyst.
- Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent Analytical and problem solving skills
- Fluent in English, knowledge of other European languages is an asset
- Be prepared to travel when required (typically limited to max 5-10% of the time)
