We are currently taking applicants for the following position:
Trade Training Officer (Trade Streaming) - Electrical
Reporting to the Superintendent - Plant, you will responsible to deliver effective theoretical training in accordance with TCI TMS and the requirements of the Australian National Metals and Engineering Industry Competency Standards; conduct relevant practical training; conduct other allied training courses in qualified competencies and in accordance with the TMS; assist in the development of relevant practical training aids; develop, review, revise and amend TCI Training Packages and lessons plans; promote TCI courses to site personnel ensuring that purpose and content of training is understood; active involvement in the planning of training activities; conduct assessment activities; ensured all attained competencies are recorded in both hard & soft copy; design assessment material; conduct tests and examinations.
To be successful in this role you will requires recognized Trade and / or Electrical Engineering Qualifications or ex TCI Apprentices with at least 4 year field experience on tools; certificate IV in Training; understanding of Industry practice and standard; Familiar with Heavy equipments: Dozer (Caterpillar/Komatsu), Excavator (Hitachi/Komatsu/Liebherr), Ingersoll Rand Drills, Dump Truck (Caterpillar/Komatsu); ability to work effectively with others and related to colleagues and ability to cope with additional responsibilities; computer literacy and excellent English communication skill -written and verbal.
