We are currently taking applicants for the following position:
Superintendent Mine Planning
The scopes of your role will include but not limited to manage employee's performance under the mine Engineering Group and take disciplinary action when required; to determine the work activities and priorities of the mine Engineering Group; to provide data for monitoring and controlling progress of target achievement; to ensure all designs and planning provided for the maximum machine productivities and coal recovery in the most cost effective and safe manner; ensure mine designs and plans are delivered on time and followed by mine operations; prepare appropriate mine sequence, dump sequence, topsoil dump area plans (pit design); monitor and control dump areas, haul distance, and equipment productivities; monitor the direction of the mining operation to ensure schedules are being followed and advice on the implications of variances from schedule.
To be successful in this role you will need to have a minimum Engineering Degree, preferable in Mining, Geologist or Civil with experience at Senior Engineer Mine Planning for 6 years; understanding Mine Design Concept and Mine Software; understanding People Management; have Supervisory level 1 (Pratama) certification. You should be able to work under deadlines, strong leadership skill, be fast paced and mobile, have strong motivation, organize and provide direction to employees, have effective communication and good team work.
