PT Astra International Tbk wins the Capital Market Awards 2011 as Best Stock Issuer with Market Capitalization above IDR 10 Trilion, held by Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), Indonesian Clearing and Guarantee Corporation (KPEI), dan Indonesian Central Securities Depository (KSEI).
Astra was established in 1957 as a trading company. Over the course of its development, it has formed a number of strategic alliances with leading global players.
Since 1990 the Company has been listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, with a market capitalization as at 31 December 2011 of Rp 299,58 trillion.
