Angkasa Pura II is an airport management company services and air traffic services had been doing service activities supporting aviation and airport services in the western region of Indonesia since 1984.

At its inception, August 13, 1984, Angkasa Pura II named Perum Cengkareng Jakarta Airports in charge to manage and commercialize Cengkareng Jakarta Airport (now named the International Airport Soekarno-Hatta Jakarta) and Halim Perdanakusuma Airport. Dated May 19, 1986 turned into Perum Angkasa Pura II and subsequently dated January 2, 1993, officially became a Limited corresponding Deed Muhani Salim, SH. 3 years 1993 to PT (Persero) Angkasa Pura II.

Currently Angkasa Pura II manages twelve major airports in the western region of Indonesia, namely Soekarno-Hatta (Jakarta), Halim Perdanakusuma (Jakarta), Polonia (Medan), Supadio (Pontianak), Minangkabau (Ketaping) formerly Tabing, Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II (Palembang), Sultan Sharif Kasim II (Pekanbaru), Husein Sastranegara (Bandung), Sultan Iskandarmuda (Banda Aceh), Raja Haji Fisabilillah (Tanjung Pinang) formerly Deer, Sultan Taha (Edinburgh) and Pangkal Pinang (Louth), and serve aviation services to the air (Flight Information Region / FIR) Jakarta.

Along with the growth in Indonesia air transport industry is rising rapidly, Angkasa Pura II has always put forward the best service for users of airport services. Airports managed by Angkasa Pura II has always received an award from the Department of Transportation Prima Pratama Indonesia to the category of Airport Passenger Terminal.

As a State Owned Enterprise that are reliable, for three consecutive years Angkasa Pura II has been awarded the Best Enterprises in Logistics Sector of the Ministry of State Enterprises Affairs (2004-2006) and The Best I in Good Corporate Governance (2006).
